Rauris valley – also named the „golden valley“. Rauris is always worth a journey, summer like winter. Many leisure and sport activities offer variety for each edge. The Resort is the closeness to the village and that there is a variety of restaurants, shops, 2 supermarkets and a bakery.

Summer
The idyllic village of Rauris (950 m above sea level) is surrounded by the Hohe Tauern National Park - the largest national park in Europe. Here you will find peace and relaxation, surrounded by meadows, forests and mountains. Rauris offers a remarkable history as a "gold-digger-village" and a wide range of recreational activities. With more than 295 km of marked trails and countless huts, Rauris offers the best conditions for hiking enthusiasts. Whether cycling, fishing or panning for gold - in Rauris everybody finds a balance to everyday life.

Winter
The exceptionally beautiful location of the Rauris Valley allows that we can offer a number of additional leisure activities available to guests of Rauris Valley. Of course, skiing is the No.1 winter sport in Rauris. The magnificent slopes are still considered, within Austria, to be uncrowded, clear runs and offer skiers of all levels the right experience. From Powder paradise to boarder-cross and easy beginner slopes, they can all be found in the beautiful mountains at 2,000 meters. Also off slope you can find a lot of possibilities to make your winter holiday. From the magnificent ski area, over 30 km of cross-country slopes, via the well-groomed winter hiking trails through to the ice climbing arena in Kolm-Saigurn.
